(IESFC)
OVERVIEW
“The fate of any nation lies in the hands of its
Youth and their willingness to work towards the
Betterment
of their country and countrymen.” At iElect, it is our firm belief that the
fastest way to change the state is by empowering the Youth and enabling them to
become a part of that change.
iElect Short Film Competition
(iEFC) is a program by the Youth for the Youth to have their voices heard in
the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Elections. It is a call to every single Youth
in the state to raise awareness, depict problems, motivate the society and most
importantly make an impact in the elections. The winning entry shall be awarded
with a cash prize of First place - 50,000, Second Place – 30,000 and Third
Place – 20,000 along with goodies from iElect.
OBJECTIVE
·
Provide a platform for the Youth and empower
them to make a change.
·
Increase voter turnout by increasing election
awareness among the youth.
·
Highlight issues faced by the people.

PROCESS
1.
Registration:
All the participants had to register in the link given below.
2.
Submission:
All the
participants should send their short films to the below postal address on or
before 16th April.

3.
Announcement:
Once,
winners are selected by our Jury members. Winners list will be published on the
website/app on 20th April.
RULES
1.
To participate in this contest, participants
had to be registered on or before 10th of April.
2.
Film entries may include
moving images, static pictures, dialogue and voiceover, music, text, titles and
graphics.
3.
An existing film cannot be submitted as an
entry.
4.
Do not use any copy righted
intellectual property (audio, music, video, still images etc.) that infringes
the rights of the owner or breaches permissible limits.
5.
Participants should add
slides at both beginning (5 seconds) and end (5 seconds) provided by IElect
post registration and should fill the Name, unique team code, city and other
details. (Unique team code will be generated once you register for this
contest.)
6.
Films without the beginning and end slides
will not be considered for contest.

7.
Participants are free to make
the film in any language of their choice provided the film has English
subtitles.
8.
Length of the films should
not be more than 3 minutes in total duration, including titles and credits.
9.
Rights to the films made as part of the
contest belong to IElect.
10.
Participants should submit
short films in CD/DVD’s and send it to postal code. Films should reach on or
before 16th April.
11.
All registered participants
agree to receive communication about IElect through their registered email id
and contact number.
